On April 25, Invisible Children had The Rescue event in 100 cities in 10 countries, including Atlanta.

There is an interesting article in the St. Petersburg Times that reflects the issues that Russell Athletics is having with many leading universities over the company's possible retaliation against garment workers in Honduras.
Some friends of mine are involved in a tour called The Forgotten Tour, which is making a stop in Atlanta on March 30th, at Danneman's Coffee. Essentially, it is an event designed to raise awareness, and something about, homelessness on an individual level.
Invisible Children is one of my favorite organizations. I have always loved the ways that they combine art with justice, and the attitudes with which they work, whether they are in the United States or in Uganda.
For those in the Atlanta area who are interested in such things, there is a lot of great stuff happening in the next week or so.
Currently, there is an ambitious attempt to use social media to meet a need. I really like finding out about these things, especially when I can help a little bit.
Sadly, I missed Blog Action Day Wednesday. Not for any particular reason; I had planned for some time to write something, and missed it (which, of course, would have been the benefit of scheduling a post a while ago).
I've been quiet recently, I know. I haven't finished my series. Yes, it will be finished.
